Art Speigelman's Love For MAD

The image Art Speigelman falls in love with is the one of Lena Hyena, created by Basil Wolverton for the cover of MAD, Issue 11, May 1954.

I really enjoy Art Speigelman's stuff. I don't know a whole lot about comics, but there is something really familiar and comforting about his work. AND it's funny!
